There is a couple I would like to share with you, the real names are disclosed for their privacy. So we will use the names Lisa, and Mike. Ok, lets get the story on the road. Lisa, was married once upon a time, and now divorced with two kids, a boy and a girl. She is a Jehovah's Witness. In this, marriage is VERY important. They do not believe in divorces. So needless to say, she wants to be married.....very badly. In time she meets, Mike. Mike was once married himself, also with two kids, two boys. Now these two had been together for a month now.
Lisa, being who she is. She pushes Mike into marrying her because she became pregnant. Mike expressed to her, that he did NOT want to get married. But because of the religion and her parents, that does not sit well with her. Now the state that they resided in, he did not marry her in that state because he was still legally married to his ex-wife!! So, he took her to another state to marry her. Before I go any further, Lisa is a VERY nieve person. Mike would claim that his ex-wife was just "crazy". But usually when a man has screwed up. That is typically what they say.
Lisa being nieve believed this. Not knowing that, the reasons for his ex-wife being "crazy" is this. Mike's ex-wife had a child before they met. So she was Mike's stepdaughter. Well, Mike had molested the daughter of his ex-wife, not once, but TWICE! The second time, using alchohol to sedate her. So, needless to say, that this is why Mike's ex-wife is so "crazy". Mike has been to court, and now has a felony pending, due to this. Lisa, does not know this information. Which SHE has a daughter also, and yes, she is married to him. See where this is going? Now a little more information about Lisa.
She is a social worker. Mike has told her that he had a confrontation with his ex-wife, which is the felony pending, he downplayed it as it was something minor. Lisa, being nieve believed him. Now, her being a social worker, dealing with these types of issues often. She should have known better, right? Lisa, is more concerned about what her parent's will think about her marriage issue, and the image of being married according to their religious beliefs. So this is more so why she pushed being married, was to please them.
Now, Mike's little secrets are slowly beginning to surface. He was working and his job employer did a background check on him. Only to find out about the felony that is pending, and they fired him for lying on his application. Now Lisa is getting frustrated because he cannot get a job and she does not know why, and she is paying for EVERYTHING!!
Now, Mike still has to go to court for this. So more than likely, he is going to get tried for what he has done. Now, how is going to explain this to her. Which is going to be devastating to her, and this thing is just going to snowball. But remind you, she pressured him into this. So this leads to the title of this page. Marriage, are you sure?
